8월 5일 동화핀란드 코트카 사업장에 우리나라 국회의원 3명과 주핀란드 대한민국 대사관 관계자들이 방문했다. 이번 방문은 국회 정보위원회 소속 의원들이 러시아-우크라이나 전후 상황을 살피기 위해 북유럽 국가를 탐방하는 과정에서 이뤄졌다. 박덕흠 의원(국회 정보위원장), 유상범 의원(국회 정보위 간사), 김병기 의원(국회 정보위 위원)과 김정하 주핀란드 대사 등이 동화핀란드를 찾았다. 동화에서는 이시준 화학총괄 사장과 손일준 동화핀란드 대표가 방문진을 맞이했다. 동화그룹과 동화핀란드에 대한 소개, 전쟁 이후 사업 현황에 대한 브리핑 등이 진행됐으며 이후 사업장 탐방 시간도 가졌다.
Momentum for boosting Dongwha's recognition in Europe
On August 5 three South Korean lawmakers and officials from the Korean Embassy to Finland visited Dongwha Finland's business site in Kotka. The visit comes as part of the National Assembly Intelligence Committee’s tour of northern European nations to check the situation following the Russia-Ukraine war. The guests were lawmakers Deokheum Park, Sangbum Yoo and Byungkee Kim and South Korean Ambassador to Finland Jungha Kim. They were greeted by Dongwha Enterprise CEO Sijun Lee and Dongwha Finland Managing Director Iljun Son, who introduced Dongwha Group and Dongwha Finland as well the situation amid the ongoing war. The visitors toured Dongwha Finland’s production facilities.
