동화일렉트로라이트톈진(이하 동화일렉톈진)이 동화일렉트로라이트 최초로 ISO 탱크를 이용해 고객사에 대용량 전해액을 공급했다. ISO 탱크란 국제표준기구(ISO) 규격에 맞는 대용량 탱크로 한 번에 20톤까지 출하가 가능하다. 이는 기존 200㎏ 단위에서 무려 100배에 달하는 전해액을 한 번에 납품할 수 있는 규모. 소량의 용기를 활용한 기존 납품 과정에 비해 보다 좋은 품질의 전해액을 공급할 수 있으며 안전성 및 생산성, 비용 효율도 더욱 우수하다. 동화일렉톈진은 ISO 탱크를 이용해 중국 소재 고객사에 전해액 약 57톤을 3차에 걸쳐 성공적으로 납품했다. 지난해 8월 1차 출하를 시작으로, 10월 2차, 올해 초 3차 출하까지 순조롭게 진행됐다. 동화일렉톈진은 올해 하반기까지 단계적으로 전해액 물량을 확대, 공급하며 안정적인 대용량 출하 시스템을 구축할 계획이다.
Customer satisfaction through bulk electrolyte supply
Dongwha Electrolyte Tianjin became Dongwha Electrolyte’s first subsidiary to ship a large amount of electrolytes to its client in an ISO tank. An ISO tank is a large tank that meets ISO standards. It can carry up to 20 tons of electrolytes at once, which is 100 times as much as regular tanks can. Compared to the previous method of delivering electrolytes in smaller tanks, the new method allows to supply high-quality electrolytes as well as enhance safety, productivity and cost effectiveness. Dongwha Electrolyte Tianjin has successfully delivered around 57 tons of electrolytes to its client in China three times using ISO tanks. The first portion was shipped in August 2023, the second in October, and the third early this year. The company plans to build a stable large-capacity shipment system by expanding electrolyte supply in phases in the second half of this year.
