동화일렉트로라이트가 대외 수상으로 동화의 이름을 널리 알렸다. 지난 11월 1일 열린 ‘배터리 산업의 날 기념식 및 전지산업발전 유공자 포상식’에서 서정호 생산부문장이 동화그룹을 대표해 산업통상자원부 장관 표창을 수상했다. 초고순도 제품을 해외에 공급하며 우리나라 전지 산업 발전에 기여한 공을 인정받은 것이다. 이어 11월 16일 '2023년 특허기술상' 시상식에서는 이차전지 전해액용 화합물 관련 발명 공로를 인정받아 '홍대용상'을 수상했다. 동화일렉트로라이트는 첨가제로서는 새로운 구조(Pedal Wheel Structure)인 전해액용 첨가제 'PA800'을 개발해 전해액과 이차전지의 성능을 향상시켜 수상의 영예를 안았다.
Recognition earned with dedication of Dongwha members
Dongwha Electrolyte has further boosted Dongwha’s status by receiving accolades. On November 1, the company received an award from the minister of trade, industry and energy. It was received by the head of the Production Department, Jeongho Seo, on behalf of Dongwha Group on the day dedicated to the battery sector to honor merits in the battery industry development. On November 16 Dongwha Electrolyte received the Hong Dae Yong Award, also known as the Patent Comissioner Award, for inventing a compound for rechargeable battery electrolytes. Dongwha Electrolyte’s electrolyte additive PA800 of the pedal wheel structure helps boost the performance of electrolytes and rechargeable batteries.
