12월 27일과 28일 인천 가좌동과 북성동 그리고 아산 공장에서 각각 '2023년 동화기업 기술직 정년퇴임식'이 열렸다. 12월 31일자로 퇴직을 앞둔 15명의 직원들이 참석한 가운데 채광병 사장과 이시준 사장을 비롯해 각 공장 공장장, 팀 리더, 노동조합위원장 등 많은 임직원들이 모여 퇴직자들에게 축하와 감사의 마음을 전했다. 퇴임식은 퇴임자 소개, 공로패 및 기념품 수여, 노사 대표 인사, 기념 촬영 순으로 진행됐다. 퇴직자들에게 공로패를 수여한 채광병 사장과 이시준 사장은 "여러분의 열정과 헌신을 잊지 않을 것"이라며 퇴직자들의 새로운 출발을 응원했다. 임윤선 동화 노조위원장은 "오늘의 동화가 있기까지 성장통을 함께해주신 선배님들이 있었다"며 "그 열정이 헛되지 않도록 앞으로도 남은 이들이 최선을 다하겠다"는 메시지를 전했다.
Expressing appreciation to retirees for their contributions
The 2023 retirement ceremony for 15 technical workers was held in Gajwa-dong and Bukseong-dong of Incheon and at the Asan factory on December 27-28. It was attended by CEOs Kwangbyung Chae and Sijun Lee as well as the heads of each factory, team leaders and the chief of the labor union. They expressed appreciation to the retiring workers. The ceremony consisted of the introduction of the retiring employees, awarding of appreciation plaques and souvenirs, congratulatory speeches and a commemorative photo shoot. CEOs Chae and Lee said Dongwha will always remember the dedication and contributions of the retiring workers. O.C. Chairman Yunseon Im also expressed appreciation by saying the retiring employees shared Dongwha’s growing pains and it was their enthusiasm that made it what it is today.
